What is MDO film?
Machine-direction orientation (MDO) film is made where, a polymer film is heated to a temperature slightly below its melting point and stretched in a particular orientation. The film can be cast on an MDO machine, or this step introduced as the last stage in the manufacture of blown films.
What is MDOPE film?
A polymer film oriented by MDO, called MDO Film.
Similarly, a Polyethylene (PE) film oriented by MDO, called MDOPE, or MDO-HDPE, MOPE, OPE, etc.
What are the advantage of MDOPE film?
· Better rigidity and transparency.
· High tensile strength and stiffness. MD direction straight line is easy to tear off.
· Excellent mechanical and printing properties, good heat sealability and low shrinkage.
· Excellent oxygen and water barrier properties by compounding with PE, EVOH-PE film or coating with PVA.
Applications of MDOPE Films
MDOPE film is used as a printing layer and can be composited with PE film, metallized PE film, and barrier coated PE film to form a mono recyclable PE structure. As a recyclable packaging manufacturer, DXC PACK has been focused on the development of recyclable pouches and films since 2016. Our recyclable mono PE pouches have received a high score of 95% in the Institute CYCLOS -HTP certified recyclability test.
Our recyclable PE pouches are widely used in industries such as cosmetic, pet food, food, coffee and tea, clothing, etc.
Low-carbon environmental protection is the inevitable direction of flexible packaging development. MDOPE film is a revolutionary product for the flexible packaging industry to move towards green environmental protection.
