DXC Resin Identification Codes
DXC Resin Identification Codes
We use three resin identification codes for our recyclable packaging , including recycling number 2, recycling number 4 and recycling number 5.
HDPE
Resin identification code No.2 (HDPE ) is high-density polyethylene.
HDPE has good heat resistance, cold resistance and chemical stability, and has high rigidity and toughness as well as good mechanical strength.
LDPE
Resin identification code No.4 (LDPE) is low density polyethylene.
LDPE has good flexibility, low temperature resistance, electrical insulation, moisture resistance and heat sealability.
Recycled LDPE is commonly used in plastic lumber and compost bins.
PP
Resin identification code No.5 (PP) is polypropylene.
PP is highly impact resistant, mechanically tough, and resistant to many organic solvents and acids and bases. Recycled PP can be used to make brooms, battery casings and ice scrapers.
